For the love of natural hair wear a wig when you want a straight look. When you straighten your hair with heat it alters the texture of your natural hair. This is heat damage. You must alter the texture to wear it straight. You cannot have your cake and it it too. The only thing you can do once it is straight is to cut if off and wait for curly hair to come out of your scalp. The hot comb, blow dryer, flat-iron are just like relaxer and they will leave you with two choices if you want your curly hair back, a big chop or transitioning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
