The Curly Fro
Basically when I rock the curly fro I have to be prepared for a certain element of drama as my hair will be out and doing it's thing. I think this style is flattering on short hair. It doesn't really count as a protective style but considering the fact that your ends have to be hidden neither are the twist and braids on short hair. I can be low-manipulation as long as you don't comb your hair much between sets. I think it is possible to live for a few days off this style before you need to reset it. I plan on rocking this style as soon as I come off my protective style at the end of the month.
