It is my one year aniversary since I have chopped my hair off. My hair has grown about 5-6 inches. Now I know that my hair does grow at an average rate. I plan to keep my hair in a protective style until March 2012 so that I can retain these six inches and grow my hair to 12 inches.
My grow and retain routine.
1. Braid hair in small box-braids once a month
2. Wash braids weekly with L'oreal paris sulfate-free shampoo.
3. Spray braids with Carol's daughter leave in after shampoo and as needed between shampoo.
